The UK House of Commons Business, Innovations and Skills Committee‘s report on Open access is out. It is a very refreshing read challenging the recommendations for the Finch report and UK’s approach for Gold access. It states “Finch Report’s conclusions and recommendations were therefore made without a detailed, up to date assessment of the existing open access policies in the UK, and worldwide, and of their success rates”.
